The Autoterm Air is probably the most widely installed parking heater in van conversions - robust, economical, reliable. Many still know it by its old name, Planar. With the Revotion integration it gets the upgrade it was missing: control via app, as a widget next to battery, tanks and lights. And via the BRAIN® with LTE-M you switch it on while you're still on your way back - you step into a warm camper.

Three modes. Timers. Diagnostics.

The integration uses what your Autoterm can do: in thermostat mode it holds your desired temperature, in power mode you set a fixed level from 1 to 6, in ventilation mode only the fan runs at level 1 to 10. You can also set on and off timers and check your heater's operating data in the diagnostics section.

Your control panel stays.

The Comfort Control stays connected and usable - you start the heater either at the control panel or in the app. Because the control panel does not take over changes made from outside, Revotion works with a session logic: what counts is always which device starts the heater and thereby begins a new session.

If Revotion starts the heater and the control panel was off before, the control panel recognises that the heater is running: it lights up red, and you can switch the heater off there as well.

If you start the heater at the control panel, Revotion switches to passive mode (“main panel in use”) for safety reasons and stops sending control commands until the heater is off again. The reason: once the control panel is on, it does not take over external changes and would immediately overwrite any outside control command, because it assumes it is the only device on the bus.

If you have no control panel installed at all, you simply control everything via Revotion.

The adapter cable sits as a Y-piece between your Autoterm and the control panel. The NODE® Connect is powered directly via the harness - no separate power connection needed - and talks wirelessly to the BRAIN®. The integration uses a protocol reverse-engineered by Revotion, so you don't need a translator module from Autoterm. The entire system is ECE R10 certified - legally installed and usable while driving.

What's in the box?

The NODE® Connect is powered via the integration's harness - no separate connection needed. A BRAIN® or BRAIN® Lite is also required - it is the hub of your Revotion system.

Which devices are compatible?

The Autoterm integration works with:

• Autoterm Air 2D (formerly Planar 2D), 12 V and 24 V
• Autoterm Air 4D (formerly Planar 44D), 12 V and 24 V
• Autoterm Air 8D (formerly Planar 8DM), 12 V and 24 V

Your heater is still called Planar? No problem - technically they are the same devices. For very old Planar models, just drop us a line and we'll check your model. The Flow water heaters (Flow 5D/5B) are currently not part of the integration.

Your original control panel (e.g. Comfort Control or PU-27) stays connected and usable - but the integration also works without one. The session logic matters: if Revotion starts the heater while the control panel is off, the control panel recognises that it is running (it lights up red) and can also switch the heater off. If the heater is started at the control panel, Revotion switches to passive mode (“main panel in use”) and sends no control commands until the heater is off again - otherwise the control panel would immediately overwrite them, because it does not take over changes made from outside.

NOTE: This integration is based on a protocol reverse-engineered by Revotion; there is no official approval from Autoterm. The benefit for you: Revotion talks directly to the heater - without a translator box or additional adapter from Autoterm.

Each heater needs its own NODE® Connect.

Shipping costs

Shipping in the REVOTION Store is free for all orders over €100. In the cart you can see how much is missing for free shipping.

Shipment information

All REVOTION products are shipped via our partner DHL. After the shipping confirmation you receive an email with a tracking number, so you always know where your parcel is.

Normally, an order is always combined into one shipment. If that is not possible, you receive a second shipping email with a second tracking number.

For each shipment the following is shown:

Order number: You'll find your order number under My account > Order history
Items of your order: You can also see the items of your order in the order history
Tracking number: As soon as your order has shipped, you'll also find the parcel tracking number in your overview to follow your order.

Standard shipping within Germany takes approx. 1-3 working days after the shipment is prepared.

If the order could not be delivered, it is returned to our warehouse. The amount can then be refunded or the order can be delivered again, as you prefer. Depending on your bank, it may take several days until the refund shows up in your account.
