How it works
Revotion Remote is the remote access of the REVOTION app to your vehicle. Preheat the heating, check the battery or see where your camper is parked: you can do it from anywhere.
Our BRAIN already has a built-in SIM card. It connects to the LTE-M network and, where LTE-M is not available, to NB-IoT. There are no consumer contracts for these industrial standards, so we bundle the connections of all BRAINs in one shared data pool. You don't buy a SIM card and you don't sign a contract.
The BRAIN can also connect to Wi-Fi. The BRAIN Lite always uses Wi-Fi or a vehicle router for Remote. You only need to activate remote access once in the app: side menu, then REMOTE, then “Activate now”.

Privacy
Revotion Remote works entirely without user data. You don't create an account and you never enter your name or email address. When you activate it, your BRAIN registers anonymously with our server and receives a digital key. Your app uses this key to connect to the vehicle remotely. Since there is no customer data, none can be lost.
We developed the backend entirely in-house, following automotive development standards. It is not built on off-the-shelf cloud kits such as AWS or Firebase, runs on servers in Germany and complies with German data protection rules.

Revotion Remote gives you comfort without compromise. Switch on the heating from the ski lift or the air conditioning from the beach. That is not only easier, it also saves resources, because nothing has to run all day. Simple, practical and comfortable.
You also always have an overview of your battery and tank levels and your temperatures.

Cost: no subscription
For normal use, Revotion Remote costs nothing, permanently. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no contract with a minimum term. Over Wi-Fi, remote access is always free anyway, because it then uses your own internet connection. Local control via Bluetooth and all software updates are of course free as well.
We deliberately decided against a subscription. This page used to say that a small subscription fee would apply from 2026. That fee does not exist, and there will be none for normal use.
Many other remote access solutions are closed systems from a single manufacturer. Truma iNet X, for example, requires the iNet X Connect add-on module, and after two included years remote access costs €7 per 30 days or €69 per 365 days (according to truma.com, as of October 2026). With Revotion, remote access is built into the BRAIN. You control your Truma heater via the Truma integration, together with all other devices in one app.

Coverage
Via LTE-M or NB-IoT, Revotion Remote works in 48 countries and regions. In Europe, that covers 26 of the 27 EU member states plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the United Kingdom. Your camper is also reachable in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Some travel destinations such as Turkey, Morocco or the Western Balkans don't have LTE-M or NB-IoT yet. There, Remote runs over Wi-Fi, for example via the router in your vehicle or the campsite Wi-Fi. Scenes, automations and the weekly schedule run directly on the BRAIN and keep working without any connection.
